Jack has arrived! For the first time in my increasingly long life, I have adopted a dog. Actually, I should say that my wife and I have adopted a dog. Jack is a very small dog, something like nine weeks old. We think he might be a crossbreed of a beagle and a Jack Russell terrier, often known as a Jackabee. He weighs about five pounds. FYI, this photo is nearly life-size. His face is only two inches wide.
