Farewell, my old tube TV!
I'm grateful to the person who chose to take the 12-inch tube TV I set out front with a FREE TV sign on it. I put it there on Sunday morning and also posted an ad on a couple of Facebook Flea Market pages. I'd had it since 2007, when I bought it for $50 at a Walmart in Lubbock, Texas during my six-month stay there. It had gotten no use for about a year. I turned it on recently, saw that it still worked, and felt a bit wistful that it was now just in the way. Farewell, my old friend.
