I was just reading the paper and they're talking about some gastroenteritis, something that came from the norovirus or is a more potent strain of the norovirus that was everywhere recently and is still going around. It's basically the same thing.
Anyway, so they say "It's unpleasant and it's highly contageous, but it's not serious, say health officials..." And then they get a QUOTE from a "Dr. Tim Booth, director of the viral diseases division at the Public Health Angency of Canada's national microbiology lab in Winnipeg." (Wow, WHAT A MOUTHFUL! Say THAT five times fast!) And this guy's medical evaluation of the disease: "It just makes you feel like you're going to die." No biggie. That's all. LMAO.
I'm so amused by people sometimes.
I'm sleepy. I didn't end up falling asleep til like 1AM. Doesn't seem to matter what I do, I can't sleep til late. Boo.
I think I'll call in sick for work tonight.
I've decided to try and drop Thursday night security shifts in favor of Thursday night library shifts where I can work less time for more money and not fall asleep at work all night long. Then I can sleep all day Friday and be completely ready to take on an all-nighter at security.
I already said all this in my last post, didn't I?
Ok, I'm gonna check my email and all that crap cos my desk time ends in 15 minutes.
