So, I've finally broken down and joined twitter. I blame Apple for making a useful mobile device which does not require a phone package (read: Touch). It's too useful. Now I'm a facebooked twit who has to remember to LJ every now and again, haha.
My favorite part? The file-o-fax has gone the way of the dodo. I still have it, but it's not taking up valuable purse real estate.
I've picked up Splendor in the Ordinary again. I had forgotten how GOOD that book was. It does an excellent job of explaining the house / home as a temple, and we are the priests and priestesses assigned to minister at that temple. It's pretty deep and pretty rich, and I love it. Now if I can just remember that every day when I see the not-so-temple-like condition of my home that it doesn't have to be that way (nor should it be). Ultimately it comes down to stewardship, and stewardship comes down to discipline...something I've never been good at walking in. I'm learning, but it is a slow process (more because I'm dragging my feet than anything else. I'd rather not be an adult if I can avoid it, but I don't really want to avoid it--if you know what I mean.)
Anywho, time for bed. Very VERY grateful that tomorrow is Friday. It's going to be a busy weekend with all of the preparations for travelling to the States for CS's wedding, but it will all get done.
Here's to a good weekend and a shortened week!
