Football Fever and Magical Meagan

So, we're back, with all the drama and total insanity that comes from living in a college dorm. Tonight, I hope to give you an insight into my college life.

First off, I dropped gardening. What a dumb class. I hope a dragon eats it. I'm taking this fine arts course instead, which is basically 'fine arts for engineers and architechts who need a fine arts credit to graduate'. It's really fun.

Special Guest Star Leah is totally amazing. She's the best roommate ever. We're like roomies, and great buddies. It's so crazy. Special Guest Star Leah is the new favorite character on the show. Meaning someone needs to start writing some fanfiction about her. (Hey, acutally, that's not a bad idea. A LJ that spawns some fanfic... beware of dragons, those who dare to embark upon that quest. They don't like being written about in a negative light)

Anyways, we had a fire alarm a couple of weeks back. As some of you probably heard (And how dare you for reading the spoilers!) Special Guest Star Leah and I slept through the fire alarm for a solid 5-10 minutes before waking up. So then, we rushed outside, and it was like 3 am, and everyone was already out there, having left us to die in the fire. Luckily, we got out. This time. But when a dragon comes through here, looking for firey vengence, we're going to be at the mercy of special guest stars Lindsay and Magical Meagan to wake us up.

We're doomed.

Anwyas, after surviving the first and only fire alarm so far (Thank goodness... Pritchard has already had 11. I think they need to work on keeping their pet dragons happy) I got to participate in a full-scale riot, complete with a crowd-surfing-bagpipe player, and chants with foul words, and lots of jumping and screaming. Go Hokies (3-0!) That was after the NC state game.

Next, I got to go on 4 mi hike in the mountains. That was fun. We got to see a waterfall, with little indians or oompa loompas at the top. The water was cold, so we went wadeing in it. No dragons in the mountains to speak of, although we did find this cool beached submarine thing. It must have been a dinasour submarine, left in the mountains after the glaciers of the ice age receded into the sea.

In other news, Mugglecast has become my new addiction. I do wish I was in Mr. Nelson's class, and I do know now that there's no such thing as over-analyzing. (I've seen the light!) Oh, and I live for the British Joke of the Day. I get 2 next week. (yay!) I'm also organizing for my whole floor to go see the new harry potter movie. That's the great thing about living with the engineers. We all like scifi. The girls next door to me were watching atlantis and bsg tonight. The other cool thing about living with engineers is that they take their sinks apart at 1AM, and they recruit the computer engineer to help... haha. I sat there and played with the tools.

Along with the good, there come the stalkers. Yes, I have picked up a stalker, and as far as I can tell, he's evaded every attempt by me to assassinate him by dragon. I hope he goes away. I hope I never have to see him and he never IMs me again. He wants to rub my feet.

On to happier news, there is a magical person living next to me. Her name is Magical Meagan. I covered all the white boards in the pod one night with messages that said "I love magical meagan" and it was hilarious. I also put post it notes in the bathroom so she'd be sure to see it the next morning. She thought it was funny. We love magical meagan here. Magical meagan and Lindsay have been upgraded from guest star to special guest star status. (darn, but there are a lot of them wandering around)

Tonight was pretty boring, until special guest stars magical meagan and lindsay, guest star kathleen, and I went running through the halls with our lab googles. That was fun. And it was Lourdes' birthday today. I'm not really sure who Lourdes is, but I think she's like a reoccuring extra. We like Lourdes enough to hope that there don't be dragons in her room. Unless they're friendly dragons.

And that's all to report. Stay tuned for next week (read 'next time i'm bored and post') to see what's happening.
