Heng out to dry.
Anybody else in China pick up the habit of using "heng" (哼) to reply to yes/no questions so popular in China? I called another foreigner the other day and he answered a lot of my questions with that. I know I picked it up from Cindy, but now I wonder if it will follow me for the rest of my life. I wonder how common this is among expats in China.
