Ok, guys I think this is going to be my final Dabizi entry.
First, I want to address why I have not updated in so long.
To be blunt, Cindy was not sure she was coming to the United States with me. I decided not to blog the resulting emo, so you were all spared that. It was the reason for the long silence though.
So whats happening now?
Cindy, Minister Debra Owen and I.
Cindy in her Wedding Dress
The Whole Wedding Party: My Mom, Amit, Matt, Annie, Unity and Meilin, Cindy, Brenna, Hiro, me, Liz, romy, my father and my grandmother.
This is how my car was decorated. "One Night in Bangkok" was my brother-in-laws idea.
Cindy made the wedding cake, and instead of the usual bride and groom we had Shrek and Fiona. For those that don't know, Cindy and I met at a showing of
Shrek.
My Dad trying the baijiu.
Cindy's gift to me: A plunger. Why?

Like most good parties, a Viking hat appeared.
One thing that was interesting to mention, an old friend who used to be pretty dorky has become a "player" and hit on a few girls at the wedding, including one married one. Not Cindy, but suffice to say he is not welcome around here anymore.
So that's it. Cindy and I are now married. I'm looking for a job as a software developer, and I can say that i am having the worst luck. Almost had a job at Carle Clinic, but an "internal applicant" called in at the last minute. I interviewed at Motorola, and after the fifth (yes, fifth!) interview they revealed that there was a hiring freeze and I would only be hearing from them if they were not interested, and if they were interested I will hear from them after the hiring freeze ended. That was two weeks ago. This is a case of "no news is good news".
I passed the first round interview at Wolfram Research, but this Wednesday I have a interview with the head of R&D.
So this is the final entry of Dabizi's (mis)Adventures in the Middle Kingdom. I'm sure I will return to China soon, but this part of my life is over now. Now I'm more worried about how to get VTK to work with Python than dodging taxi's while crossing Chinese streets. Besides observations on how Cindy is getting along here, there is not much more to write about. So it is time to finish this story.
I might start a new blog, but this is my last (Mis)Adventure for awhile.
