Ah yes another update in the early pre-dawn hours
Yep - I updated twice in the same month! My job, with its 2 graveyard shifts a week and three 4pm-midnight shifts has definitely turned me into a freakin hermit. I stay up all night, every night. Then I sleep all day and go to work if necessary. Days off are completely wasted now lol. For instance: I'm off tomorrow and don't have to work until 11pm tuesday. But it's 5:30 and I'm still not ready for bed. By the time I go to bed, I'll probably end up sleeping until 4 or 5pm. Such a waste. I truly have nothing but sympathy now for the people who work full-time graveyard. I'd go criminally insane lol.
Luckily, I shouldn't be at this too much longer. Which is a good thing, cause the job just doesn't pay as well as I had hoped and I'm slowly going broke (draining my savings = something I didn't wanna do, but it's happening). So, I signed up for a bartending certification. I've always thought that would be a damn cool job to have. On top of that, it pays well, well enough that I could only do it part-time while I go back to school and still make ends meet. Plus I could work closer to home - that 30 mile commute got old quick. So, I'm patiently and anxiously awaiting my stuff so I can begin learning and practicing my bar skills. Best part is, the company that is certifying me guarantees job placement in your area once you get certified. If not, they refund your money, but you're still certified and free to find your own work. Win/win? I think so. I hope it works out, I'm quite optimistic and anxious about it. :)
