card series: mixed media
i've been making some new mixed media cards, and i have a series under my belt:
this one is dark but you can see the shiny/raised aspect of the embossing. only some of the birds are embossed.
if the image looks familiar at all, it's because it's inspired by this ring.
materials used: file folders my boss threw out that i cut up into card sizes, felt for the circles, bird stamp & ink from the craft store, and the trees are all machine-sewn.
