i got a really touching package in the mail today. my sister actually tried sending me something a few weeks ago and kept asking me whether i got it. apparently, it got returned and she had to resend it. now i understand why she was so anxious for me to get it - it's beautiful!
the presentation is really beautiful, too. she made an oyster for the pearl out of felt!
in the box was a note that read:
for an engagement,
a token of appreciation for everything you have done for me as a member of your born family as you go into a family you choose.
