it's funny that LJ has
storybookland in the spotlight, as it speaks to one of my resolution points for the year, and i was just this week reflecting on those resolutions
intentions i made in january.
so, let's review:
1) we were doing pretty good with eating lentils and greens a lot in the winter. the summer is a crapshoot because there's lots of cooking hot dogs down at the beach with his parents, etc. hrmmmmm. the winter will bring back the better diet, i hope.
2) yes! we indeed went to mexico, and we have our sights set on at least 2 weeks for a honeymoon next year. current contenders are eastern europe (croatia? bulgaria? czech republic?) or asia (thailand? vietnam?)
3) woefully, no. penelope the neighbor cat i love has not shown her face for several months, so she may have moved with her owners, or maybe she is dead, but i really don't want to consider that. anyway, we're still talking about getting cats. maybe they will be wedding gifts to each other.
4) yes, a little. i'm getting there.
5) my last dentist visit was pretty good, and i got an electric toothbrush with some birthday money i got (gawd, if that's not a sign of getting old i don't know what is!), but i still need to improve on the flossing.
wow, so now i realize this post started with a nonsequitor, as the resolution i was thinking about - work on the children's book idea with
jenniferblaufra - was not something i actually specified. ha!
