i know, it's a rare occurrence these days for me to post about craftiness, but i have done these examples over the last ... i dunno, 6 months? .. or so, and i thought i would post them all together.
the above hedgehog is actually an example of the danger of bleaching the positive image rather than the negative of the image. see the dribble that pass for poop/pee? i ended up saving the shirt by bleaching out a halo around the whole image, but that's why i just bleach out the negative space now.
another one that needed a save: this one was too washed out (i discovered that the lighter colored shirts bleach out faster than the dark ones) so i "saved" it by making a felt applique of the design i bleached.
crib sheet for daycare i spiffed up. it's very hard to photograph a big wrinkly fitted sheet sans the mattress!
