craftiness: screenprinting & a card
as you can see, i am doing a little photo catch-up today.
those of you who have been on my f-list a while will find this card familiar. my newest craft gadget is the corner rounder punch. so simple, but i am a little obsessed.
a few weeks ago, i had a few local friends over or a small workshop in what i call "ghetto screenprinting" (i mostly follow the instructions found here). we made up some screens with new images, and no one had time to stick around for the screens to dry enough to use them. i finally got around to testing out the screens last week.
hedgehog, mushrooms, and lotus. the lotus looks a little like an avocado in this example, but i think that's partially the color i chose.
i must note, i am loving the thrift store as a source for super-cute kiddie clothes. it definitely appeals to the low-impact-consumer in me (why not give new life to someone else's cast-offs?) i just bought a seersucker summer dress for a friend's toddler that i hope will take a print well.
