10 years ago today.
i find it odd, this number.
10 is significant, but it feels easy, particularly when i compare our relationship with other people.
perhaps we accepted each other unconditionally at the start.
maybe it helps that we don't have children.
maybe it helps that we agree on most things, except on trash nights. we have the same conversation each week, whether the last bags should be taken out in the morning, or before we go to bed.
i suppose we're two lucky people who happened to find each other and grew together rather than apart, if that's our main source of conflict.
