Kim Kardashian INVADES Detroit - and picks up new gay boyfriend!!
That's right, that's right!!
Here's a little synopsis about my amazing experience with Kim Kardashian. Seriously, it was beyond amazing! Her appearance in Detroit hasn't been profiled on ANY major gossip sites - yet! I thought that my journal would be a good place for the pictures and the story.
Kim Kardashian invaded Detroit, Michigan on Good Friday, March 21st, 2008.
Kim was in town to party it up at the V Lounge Nightclub inside of the MGM Grand Detroit Casino - and yours truly got to not only meet, but hang out and DANCE with the princess superstar herself!
The V Lounge hoochie door girls were being HELLA bitchy and selective when it came to letting people into the club. After waiting like 20 or 25 minutes, they finally let me and my friends in! The nightclub was incredible - probably the best in all of Detroit. The next challenge was to actually MEET Kim - because obviously she was going to be in the VIP. Once inside, Kim showed up not much later, and made a little cute speech to the crowd saying this was her first time here, and she also asked the DJ to play Britney Spears for her. Loves it! The next challenge was getting into the VIP. Amazingly enough - it happened! After having a bunch of fat, nasty and rowdy men rub past me in the VIP, I finally got to meet Kim. (She was in a VIP roped off area the whole night.)
It started off as a simple meeting. Kim and I exchanged formalities and I started talking about how I adore her, her show, and how I really think her sister Khloe is hilarious. After a few minutes of chatting and hanging out in the VIP with Kim, we took some pictures together. We took a very MySpace style pic (where I held the camera), and we also got someone else to hold the camera and take our picture. My friends all got pictures with her too - and Kim made sure everyone took at least 2 pictures with her. That was super nice of her! Then, we took some group pictures of all of us and my friends started walking away.
Well, I was not about to be dumb and leave Kim Kardashian! So we start talking again, and I asked her why she hadn't been dancing? She'd been in the club for maybe an hour, or an hour and a half, and she'd been sitting on this couch the WHOLE time except for the 2 minutes where she stood up to make her speech. Kim was totally cute about it, and said she wanted to take pictures with all her adoring fans - when SUDDENLY, the pounding, pulsating beats of "Gimme More" from Britney Spears start playing. I GASPED out loud, and was like "It's Britney!!" Kim giggled and was like "Yeah! I love Britney!" I then tell her she needs to take at least 5 minutes and dance while she's here! At this point, this security guard wanted me to leave (I presume because he was an ass like all secuity are, and/or because they wanted to get other people in to meet her) so I stand up and tell Kim that they wanted me to leave. Kim stands up and apologizes that they were pushing me out. So we're standing there, and "Gimme More" is blasting through the club, and I look at her and ask, "Wanna Dance??" -
AND WE DID. MY GOD. SHE GAVE ME THAT SEDUCTIVE LOOK that both Kim & Paris are famous for - AND STARTED SHAKING HER AMAZING BOOTY AT ME!! Of course I'm not just standing there - my gay ass starts shaking my thang to Britney!!! And yes - I started freak dancing up on her booty!! It was incredible. Seriously. This is like, shit that happens in the movies and/or only in Hollywood. So we're dancing for a little bit, and I suddenly look up at one of my friends and FLASH - she takes a picture. PRICELESS MOMENT!!
All and all - INCREDIBLE NIGHT!!!!
Not only did I meet Kim Kardashian - I took a grand total of 7 pictures with her, got to hang out with her, and also got to DANCE WITH HER TO BRITNEY SPEARS.
It was officially, a very GOOD Friday.
