Hard Quiz - fandom diversion

So there's this quiz show on the ABC (Australia's national broadcaster) that I rather enjoy called Hard Quiz. It's hosted by an entertainingly prickly comedian (Tom Gleeson) and starts with four contestants per show, the schtick being that they each have an "expert subject" to be quizzed on. I'm not crazy thinking this is really similar to Einstein Factor that Peter Berner hosted, am I?

Hmmm, apart from the special subject (which obviously is also a thing on the Einstein Factor) I'd say not really thaaat similar? I mean, there's no brains trust, and everyone is free to answer the first round of specialist questions. Although I haven't seen more than a couple of eps of Einstein Factor, so can't be sure.

I think it's the special subject thing jumping out at me. I was on Einstein Factor though so that's probably why.
