German class and stuff

have to say I am seriously having trouble *not* speaking in German. Every time I open my mouth, sometimes German comes out rather than English, and I'm starting to get better at it. I mean, my grammar still sucks major ass, but it's alright. My whole class went to Art Van furniture and were describing the furniture to each other auf Deutsch, and then we went to Krispy Kreme for doughnuts. Our TAs told the order-taker people we were all foreign exchange students from Germany, who couldn't speak any English. The guy looked VERY confused and very freaked out. it was funny because he'd ask us what we wanted and we'd answer in German, knowing exactly what he was asking. But I'm having to fight from speaking in German. My thoughts aren't in German yet, but prolly by next week I'll be speaking more in German and thinking more too.

I finally had to put my foot down. Soph, I did what you said...It didn't go so well, but i didn't know how else to say anything. I hate being blunt but I have to be, especially in this situation. I'll do a friendslocked post later tonight about it. If you're desperate for it and you can't see it, email me. most of you know my new email address anyway.

So yeah. Life is beautiful. People love my haircut, which is exceedingly similar to Rini's.

I should go find Roger. He prolly has DCM though, which, I'm told, is muchly like Prelude. ...not so cool...

Am going to Mari's wedding shower tomorrow...w00t. it'll be interesting...all the girls together and such. Yeah. I have an "& guest" invite to the wedding. Now, do I go alone or do I drag Roger there? I'd drag Jeff but he suggested Roger, and I'd invite Tim, but he'd read into it too much. I don't really know anybody else well enough to ask them. Maybe I'll ask Roger. Yeah. I might.

I'm cold down here. Oh well. gotta go back to the room, or maybe look for Roger to hang out.
