a.) Buy an egg from the NPC in Jeuno (can't remember where he/she is located)
b.) Get an egg as a drop from an ISNM
c.) Ask 2 kind people to give you their Chococards (from their already existing Chocobos). Needs to be a male and female card obviously :p, you take those 2 cards to the kid standing next to the Chocobos outside the stable in Upper Jeuno, the chocobos will mate and you can pick up an egg after 1 RL day.
Then, you take your egg, anyway you get it from above, and trade it to a VCS trainer located in any of the 3 starting cities' chocobo stables. Voila!

It's like 15-30 damage on DC-VT mobs, but procs maybe 20% of the time.
On hard mobs, it procs even rarer, and does like 2-10 damage, heh.
