Busy weekend. :o
After Saturday's DL, went to Gawin and Bonnie's wedding, that was neat to watch because we got ported upto the lighthouse in South Gustaberg (normally not accessible to players) and the ceremony was conducted there. Congrats to Gawin and Bonnie!
On Sunday started with 2x Jailer of Love. Fight was neat to do because we collected triggers a while back and were collecting a little dust, glad we finally got around to doing them. Honestly though, it's an unnecessarily long fight.
No AV popped for either, but at least the drops made up for it. 2x Love Halberd -> Amiel (a tribute to him, who quit and made us all sad ._.) and Niak, Novia Earring -> Falcoo and Novio Earring -> Kerberoz. Huge grats to them. :)
After JoL, we headed to Valley of Sorrows and claimed Aspidochelone, which I haven't fought in a little while. We had a crapload of BLM's from the JoL fights who came to Valley, so this was an insanely quick fight. At least it seemed that way compared to JoL fights we had just come from!
I'm now 4/5, thanks everyone. :)
After that, headed to Aery to see if we could get Fafnir as well and successful we were. Haven't tanked him in a little while, so was fun again. The new toy I got from DL kicked in quite a bit actually, far more than I thought it would. Obviously that's not indicative that it will ALWAYS be like this, but it was certainly nice seeing it kick in this often. In fact, at one point it was proc, Shield Block, proc, proc:
Drops were semi-decent, Neptunal Head -> Seishi and Hrotti -> Gawin. Congrats to both of them. :)
Overall a very successful weekend, got quite a bit accomplished.
