a final treatise

It's election day. I've already voted absentee, but I've had some thoughts running through my head, just enough for one final argument.

The vote for president this year is not one about who looks better in front of the camera, who can raise the most money, or any of that wonderfully American political bullshit. It is vote for so much more than that. It's a question of right and wrong. George W. blatantly and recklessly used the power and prestige of office of the President of the United States, not only for personal and political gain but in the process squandered our future, at home and around the world. We will never know exactly what Bush had pulled off, he's already had all records for him and Cheney sealed indefinately and sent to his fathers library for protection. The man is hiding from us. Why else does someone hide from you, to keep you from knowing the truth. I think that he never has, nor ever will tell us the truth. Is a man like that, one who cannot account for the blood of thousands of Americans on his hands, someone you want to vote for?
