OMG FANFICTION ALERT

Feb 04, 2010 14:49

Greetings from the ever-white (due to snow) land of South Dakota. I bring the gift of a one-shot. It's a shitty one-shot, but it's something. It's got a little AU, a little Obidala, and it's about 1.5 pages long... not even. I wrote this in the MUC between classes this morning, while James made fun of me/told me what I was doing was awesome. Okay, make up your mind, boy-o!!! It's not supposed to be good. It's just supposed to be something to tide ya'all over till I finish the smut fic and until the OFF 9th Challenge fics are posted. It's short and underdeveloped in every way... but I just wanted to do a little exercise... so don't expect this to be the Great American Fanfic. I might come back to it later and add to it. We'll see.

Onward!

Title: Stronger Than Love

Rating: PG

Summary: Padme decides to pay Obi-Wan a visit. However, she finds him to be indisposed. VERY SHORT.

Disclaimer: I’m not diggin’ this plaid trend going on. Therefore it is actually impossible for me to be George Lucas and thus own anything Star Warsish. A fangirl can dream though, can’t she?

A/N’s: This is based on the 9th fanfic challenge prompt from the Obidala Fan Forum [“Jealous Padme”]. This is not the fic I wrote for the challenge; don’t worry. I wanted to write this one for the challenge, but I realized it would give up my identity since it uses one of my OC’s.

“It’s been far too long, Master Kenobi.”

Obi-Wan Kenobi stopped in his tracks at the sound of that all-too-familiar voice. He turned on his heels to find her leaning against a column, looking him over seductively. She had positioned herself so that one foot was flat against column, causing her robe to gracefully reveal one bared leg. She was looking down at her nails with a sly smile, purposefully avoiding his gaze. Obi-Wan felt a chill run down his spine as he walked closer.

The woman’s long brown curls had a faint purple shimmer to them and he could not help but admire how she had pulled them back in such a way that her face was framed in a mysterious manner. She looked up at him momentarily, smirking at him briefly before looking back down at her nails. Obi-Wan stopped in front of her, looking down to take in the sight of the black dress she wore and appreciating the strategic placement of the slit trailing down her thighs.

“Aleena Tarlana,” he murmured. “It has been far too long.”

“That’s Mistress Tarlana to you,” Aleena answered with a smile. “I’m still a Jedi you know. They haven’t kicked me out yet.”

Obi-Wan looked around quickly, trying to find any sign of life in the foyer.

“No one’s here,” Aleena said quietly.

“Thank god,” Obi-Wan muttered, reaching for Aleena’s face. Though she had expected him to be gentler, she was not surprised when he grabbed her and took her in a passionate kiss. She could not help but lose herself in the moment as Obi-Wan pushed her back into the column, kissing her harder as the moments passed.

Unbeknownst to the couple, they had been seen. A young woman had come through the foyer in the midst of their passion and had hidden herself behind a different column. She was not supposed to be here, she knew, but she had to see him. And now she watched in horror as the man she loved embraced another woman.

She knew it was unfair to think he would not find someone else. She had gotten married and pregnant with another’s child, and now here she stood watching him with shock and disgust. She realized how hypocritical her thoughts were. Again, she should not expect him to wait around for her like a lost dog after what she had done.

She felt the tears begin to well up in her eyes and finally she could take no more. She turned and started for the end of the hall, trying to avoid being seen by the couple. Though it seemed they were too wrapped up in their passionate embrace to notice her rushing away, she just hoped Obi-Wan would not sense her presence. She could not afford to let him see her tears.

As she rushed out of sight, Obi-Wan turned away from Aleena momentarily. Surely he had not sensed Padme Amidala’s presence in the Jedi Temple? She wouldn’t dare show up here to see him. It was too risky… Especially after what she had put him through. How dare she even think to visit him?

“Obi-Wan…” Aleena whined. “What is it?”

“Nothing,” Obi-Wan answered. “I think we should go somewhere else.”

And with that, the two vanished from the foyer.
