I saw Hiroshima, Mon Amour today. It was rather disturbing to see close up, highly artistic shots of sex cut with the destruction of Hiroshima and its victims. Particularly when some doctors pry open a woman's burned out eye. That was even more disgusting than Un Chien Andalou's eye, because it stayed.

The rest of the movie was poignant and romantic and it made me think of Casablanca. Then they went to a club called Casablanca. Hah. Anyway, the movie was pretty interesting, even though I wasn't quite in the mood for it.

In real life, I must figure out what I'm going to do with housing. I think I will still in this quad, and so will Will (heh). But Alan will be leaving (not surprised), and hopefully so will Sid. He's not a bad guy, but I don't really like living with him. Plus, Hindi music. Don't know who we're going to get to replace them though.

I sort of want a kitchen. The last time I used the general C Tower one both the sinks were clogged and filled with food debris, and someone had on the stove left old meat, on which ants were crawling. The scene was not endearing.
