Well...
Lovely day today. Felt quite good apart from the slight red wine hang over and puffy red eyes. I ate entirely too much chocolate and didn't go for a walk down the beach becoz the weather is looking a bit threatening. So feeling.... unhealthy but happy. Wish I had more chocolate.
Just had a call from a guy about getting a loan. Ha... typical hey, the day after I quit. I met him a few weeks ago and gave him my business card becoz he said he was thinking about getting a house. He rang today to say he'll get around to that soon but how about going out for a drink next weekend. Wasn't expecting that. Thats the second time I've given my card out and I've had someone ring to ask me out instead of for business reasons. Kind of nice (the first one wasn't - he was a 50 year old orthepedic surgeon from the hospital I work at, who I've gone to considerble lengths to avoid running into since), but makes me think my decision to leave broking was quite sound after all! So I think I'll keep those cards and just pretend I'm a broker, good way to get dates clearly!
Looks like a storm is coming in over the ocean, there are great big fluffy grey clouds coming in over the sea, with the sun going down behind them so looks pretty nice.
