HOW TO POST

Here are the guidelines for posting to the comm:

  • It's up to each artist/author team to decide which of you will post to the community. Doesn't matter to us which one of you does it.

YAY, I'm excited that you're excited!

Of course you can embed the art into your fic, that's totally fine. The link you should include in the comm post should go to your artist's masterpost, though, if they have one---it's usually just one big post showing off all the story art they made in their own journal (or wherever). Makes it easier for people to comment to them specifically, and let them know how awesome their art is.

You are totally welcome to post the fic wherever you want. A lot of people usually post to both LJ and AO3 (and sometimes DW), so people have options, but that's really down to your own preferences and how much trouble you want to go to. As for your NC-17 rating, there's an option to warn for adult content in one of the drop-down lists in your LJ rich text/html editor. You can also set your whole journal to warn for adult content, I think. But yes, all fic and art must be public.

And no, sadly I did not write that story! It's just one of my fake summaries. Someday, though, sooooomeday I will write a Dark Angel Zompocalypse. :D
