Dear lazyweb,

( Where'd my network mount go? or, the first really anti-intuitive thing that's happened to me since I got my laptop )

...found it. Finder Menu -> Preferences -> sidebar -> there are a list of items to show in the sidebar. "Connected Servers" will have a "-" instead of a checkbox. Turn that into a checkbox and it regenerates the list.

I'm not sure it's totally intuitive, but it does work.
