I used to live in Speedway, IN. I don't know if you have Speedway in Canada, but it's a gas station here. I would tell people I lived in Speedway and they'd go, "You live in a gas station??" There are, in fact, several Speedway gas stations in the Speedway area, but it's named for the Indy 500 Racetrack. Why they didn't just call it Racetrack, I couldn't tell ya. Even more confusing is that the town of Speedway is entirely within the borders of the city of Indianapolis, but it is its own independent entity and has its own government and police force and school system. If you live in Speedway, you have to get a special pass to use the Indianapolis Public Library system, too, just like if you lived in a small town on the other side of the state. It is completely absurd.
The one exciting thing about the town of Speedway is that if you have a yard, you can make a shit ton of money on race weekend by letting people from out of town park their cars on your lawn. Many families pay for their family vacations with the money they make from this venture.
