Guy rang from China again yesterday! It was good to hear from him, even if the phone line is a bit dodge. There’s like, a seconds time delay and an echo if you speak too loud…and you have to speak really slowly and clearly otherwise you can’t tell what one another are saying. But never mind. He sounds like he’s having a great time, I’m so jealous. Apparently there was no other reason behind the buying of two crickets other than that he wanted them, and they cost about 60p from the market. He told me what they were called but I can’t remember…and alas they are dead now. Lol. He’s also booked himself on a course of tai chi and has to get up at six o’ clock in the morning now. I’ve instructed him to buy lots of cheap Chinese stuff and to take lots of photographs so we can have a party when he gets back, and he can tell us all about it properly J
In other news, Harry Potter wasn’t that bad. Though for a horrible moment it looked like there were going to do the 360º panoramic shot on the Harry/Cho kiss scene that Lucy and I feared. There were some quite dodgy in-your-endos as well such as “We’ve been at it all night” and “I’m going to penetrate you and you have to try resist” (my brother reported the second one so it may not be reliable...)
Worst lines by far were:
Ron - “That was bang out of order”
And…
Cho (to Harry) - “I’ve never stunned anything before!”
Eugh.
