I forgot how fantastic it was to just spend an entire day at the airport, flying, and just BSing with the other guys.  Once you leave the ground, all your cares and problems seem to just fade away.

Makes me wish aviation fuel didn't cost so much...  or maybe just that the plane didn't use about 150 lbs an hour.
