Judgment Day
So, it's my first night home alone with the kiddo. The wife is out of town for work, so I get the honor of the very first solo night with him (she's had a couple nights without me, but they were at her folks' house, so there was potential backup there).
Wish me luck. The evening got off to a very bad start, when our overtired and, I suspect, sensing-Mama-wasn't-home boy went on a nearly 3 hour crying jag (with short breaks for a 15 minute nap and eating), which ended only with a car trip to Krispy Kreme, and a couple of donuts for a very stressed Daddy. Since then, he's been fast asleep. So, we'll see how the rest of the night goes.
