Snow Day
Well, that was interesting. For the first time in I don't know how long the Director at IDOC sent all non-essential personnel home at 3:00 p.m.
This means I got off two hours early without having to use any time. Conditions must be pretty bad everywhere, as I had only processed one ID request all day, and only a handfull of password resets.
When I got home and turned on the TV, the crawl on the bottom of the screen said Logan County (just north of us) was dispatching snowmobile crews to respond to emergency calls. Don't recall that ever happening around here before.
At this point I'm wondering if I'll be able to get to work tomorrow, and it's normally a five minute trip.
