Weekend
A lot has happened recently, lets see...
Jessie and I have a place to live. We were approved for an apartment in Columbus on Saturday. We officially sign the lease tomorrow and take possession on Friday. It's in northwest Columbus (Kenny and Henderson for any locals). It's actually very near to where Tim lives, if anyone has ever been there. I'm excited and relieved that we have a place, woohoo!
Last night was my Bachelor Party. I just want to say thank you to everyone who was able to make it up to C-bus for it. I had a good time and appreciate everyone who made it. I hope that you all had fun too. Next person to get married just let me know, I"ll bring the dollar bills. Thanks a lot to Kyle, Chris, and Tim for organizing this event and contacting people. You all rock. I hadn't drank like that in awhile and I managed to do pretty well. Thanks for all the drinks fella's.
The Bucks won yesterday and looked better. I guess Indiana is a good cure for what ails ya.
UD won also... rock on.
The Red Sox won last night in a thriller (so I've heard...) but it is far from over. The Curse of the Babe lives!
The Browns played the Eagles today and hung in there, forcing overtime with a late game touchdown to tie it. They had their chances to win but just couldn't quite pull it out. They are showing promise, especially on offense where some things finally seem to be coming together. Like my dad said, at least they are entertaining to watch lately. That was not he case during the first couple of weeks of the season.
I got a few possible job leads on Friday. I'll have to follow up this week and see if there truly is anything there. Still the lack of job is hanging over my head while everything else seems to be sliding into place. I'm optimistic however.
