Last day of Designer Collection and Gaston's Tavern opens
Today is the last day for the Designer Collection! Remember, if you ordered your doll set back in August, they should be coming today or in the next few days. All six (well, five as Cruella will be released today) are still available, so if you were thinking about getting one and the frenzy last year put you off, you should have no problem picking up one. This doesn't explain why they're going for $100+ on eBay, but whatever. I guess that's international customers?
The masterpost thread is still open and will remain open for anyone needing it, but this has been eventfully quiet so far (thank goodness). I've been horrible at keeping up when items were selling out, but I do know most of the cups are sold out online (Cruella and Mother Gothel are still up) along with the pin set, and the lithographs. In addition to the designer collection, Disneystore.com seems to be adding new villain merchandise every week, so check back every now and then to see if anything catches your eye. A lot more Captain Hook merchandise seems to be appearing recently (maybe in subconscious conjunction Once Upon A Time?).
Yesterday was the soft opening for Gaston's Tarvern and it looks great! If you're in the area, be sure to check it out and tell Gaston how you feel since he's out for meet and greets.
But just to clarify - Gaston's Tavern will NOT be selling alcoholic beverages. The Be Our Guest restaurant will along with other parts of the park.
