Disney Designer Villain Collection pt. 2
Tomorrow begins the sale of individual dolls for the next six weeks starting with Maleficent (full schedule is here). They are doing STORE ONLY sales tomorrow (9/10). They've changed the rules since last year and how they're going to handle the process, so be sure to check this post for specific details relating to the new voucher system.
Then Tuesday (9/11), they will sell the doll online. This is your last opportunity to purchase a doll. I'm assuming it will be released at 12AMPST much like all of Disney's merchandise, so you might have to stay up a bit late to snag a doll. The set of six sold out in 40 minutes, so keep that in mind. I don't think it'll be as bad as the princesses, but I don't think they're going to stay on the site for longer than 24 hours either, if even that. Now we have to deal with the re-sellers :P
I've also set up a buying/selling/trading post here for anyone needing it. I'll also be making individual threads in that post relating to the online releases for each of the dolls to keep track of anything that happens, so be sure to watch that post in the coming weeks while you wait for the doll of your choice to be released. For those of you who have already received your merchandise from last month, I hope you're enjoying it! Remember your dolls won't be arriving until October. You can always swing by your local Disney Store to see what the dolls look like in person, though.
Tomorrow also begins the sale of the Designer merchandise in stores. I can tell you right now the lithographs sold out online (8/25), so if you were looking to get a set, in-store purchases might be your only chance. If you haven't saw the other lovely merchandise they've put out this fall, it's definitely worth a look. I've never seen that much villains merchandise on the site ever. Those little plush are to die for.
