May I shed a few for the princesses I missed out on (all of them) but add a caveat that all will be forgiven if I can get the villains! I love love love those villains!

You may. Shoot, I managed to get one and I'm still crying over the battle I had to fight to get one. The F5 button is burned in to my retinas.

F5? I'm so confused. I'm clearly very inexperienced at this!

On your keyboard. The site went down numerous times, and many of us had to keep pressing that button to refresh the page and see if the website was back up. Then, when the website did go back up, it would give you a message saying they preparing the site for the sale when it already started, so many people had to keep restarting their process. It was a nightmare.

Gotcha. I got stuck in the constant refreshing and ended up losing the one doll I managed to get in my cart. I didn't know you could refresh with F5.

Yeah, that happened with a lot of people. They'd come back to the page and the doll was gone, or they'd have too many and Disney wouldn't let them proceed if they had more than one. F5 saves a second or two.
