[Richter has, over the past day, dragged a fairly large amount of spare word scraps to a nice-sized clearing he found - a parking lot in what looks to be a big city from the 50's.
Every few minutes, you hear him yell "Aqua Edge!" or "Bloody Howling!" or another spell, and a small pile of wood is obliterated by water or darkness. This is followed by him scribbling in a notepad, before preparing another spell. He seems to be foregoing his weapons for now to practice his magic... and if you look at the notepad, it has a detailed analysis of how the mana around him feels when casting his favorite spells here.]
