Hello.
This is Seto Koji.
On August 11th at 7pm, I'll be on NHK BS premium's documentary special "Battleship Yamato"* as a navigator.
The tragedy that happened 67 years ago which is being forgotten, the sinking of the battleship Yamato...
The crew members on Yamato had been the same age as I am now.
Through the interviews with fromer crew members of Yamato and by visiting the place that is connected with Yamato, I was surprised with the Yamato I got to see.
Because I'm at the same age as the crew members of Yamato, I felt kind of closer to Yamato and I felt my conveying "mission" to those who'll watch the show and to the younger generation.
Through Yamato I was able to think about war, piece and humans, which I'm usually only thoughtlessly aware of, anew.
It's a topic that I want everyone of you to think about anew, too.
