Well, halfway there, anyway
Well, I got _some_ of my flight review done today.
The instructor and I tried to head out for some flying, but some fouled plugs made for little more than a taxi to the end of the runway and an engine runup.
So, we dropped my bird off and went to the restaurant in the terminal. There, we did the ground instruction part of the review while assaulting a pecan roll and some cokes. Gee whiz, I still know parts 61 and 91 of the federal aviation regulations. Woohoo.
I've asked my mechanic to work his aviation fu on my plane to get 'er back up to snuff. I'm sure it is minor. I'll just need to go up with the instructor some time this week after the bird is better for an hour and all will be well.
Tomorrow is the actual two year anniversary of me passing my private pilot check ride. I am so awesome, it is hard to believe I get to hang out with me all the time.
