I Once Renamed a Nest of Twigs
I once renamed a penguin with swirls in his eyes
He dizzied me, a hot-dog ridden boy
plagued by ketchup and uneven looks--
life is a bed of three hour naps and sunsets
all you need is a radio, we'll just send
them to space, what if right now was in the future?
Something crazy will happen!
It doesn't take much to speak forgotten
tulips always bloom in spring
people stop picking flowers.
this is like a little desk, I don't feel
like leaving, It looks really weird your picture
I've leant my shoulder and elbow on this paper
I've consequently moved 50 feet once
and tripped on a smudge of ambition.
When the lazy-boy desperado rocked back and forth on his porch
for one last time nigga make some noise
hey did I tell you the story about the clown
he raped me of my Karma
His hair may have been made of hawks!
For all I care! his eyebrows float like eagles
across a grim American horizon.
I don't know its the first track...that
was on my sisters phone. I like it like this
It hit me like this
He treats she so bad he's like "take my arms"
"I've got heart pains" so with barbed wire beaks
The bird lands on its limb to build a nest of twigs
