Stalker-chan
You know...I had a whole lot of different things to type but I can't remember them all. So I'll just start w/ the topic. I have a little stalker on this site that I frequent. I'm not sure what I did but some time last week they started typing "______ your mami or momi". Even did it when the admin/founder was online. They even created a thread titled "Lets make a spiggy is stupid and gay club". I made the 2nd post then there were 2 more before it was deleted. Took a whole 30mins. It's probably the ONLY thread to be deleted. So today I was on, since I got the day off from jury duty, and they did the same thing. They were once called a stupid robot, but after today, I dubbed the person Stalker-chan. Sure it's the lowest grade version and may not have any special features but I have one. If you know the site and who I'm referring to, by all means...use the title I bestowed upon them.
Work:
It's safe for me to type this for everyone. Company had a project managers meeting. It lasts 2.5 days for them. Since my subdivision never gets a chance to meet any of the people who yell at us, try to order us around, ask the impossible, work with, spot our mistakes, etc they invited us over for the dinner portion of the meeting. They had a big meet and greet w/ an open bar. Took advantage of the open bar. Met ALOT of the people who have called asking for favors, who taught me something I didn't know, and bumped heads with via email and phone. A couple of people who I thought were the worst people to work with over the phone were some of the coolest people in person. I guess putting a face to a name and voice really makes a difference in attitude. It seemed that there were quite a few PMs who really wanted to meet me. During dinner, the VP of our dept announced the people from my dept, just in case we didn't meet in the lobby. I kid you not, I think that I got a big applause from everyone, kind of shocking to me but kind of not since I've been there longer than the others. I had people walk over to me just to introduce themselve. Mainly people I REALLY helped. These usually consisted of big projects needing to be completed in a couple of days, 15 min revisions, and fixing some serious mistakes not made by myself. I think that I have a couple of divisions that wouldn't mind having me relocate there. I think that would be a total of about 5-6 of them that I could go to when I'm ready. It was a fun night. Company paid for 1st open bar before the dinner while another company we work w/ paid for the rest of the night. I didn't leave until about 1050p. I didn't make it to bed until about 12-something. I did NOT want to wake up this morning!! My sinuses were congested, I had a headache, and I woke up like 3 times through the night. My allergy pill and blowing my nose got rid of the congestion but my headache didn't go away until just before noon. You can kind of guessed how my day went...slooooowly.
Life:
Got the day off from jury durty as stated above. I also found out that I have the rest of the week off now. I'll have to call to see if I need to report next week. So I have 1 week down and 1 to go. New TV season started on Mon. That means that my Sunday and Thursday nights are busy. It also means another season of AVATAR!! Yea...not much else is going on.
Ya know...it's kind of sad. Yesterday, I had soo much that I was planning on typing, but I forgot it all. HA!! Just thought of one. I went to my college's football game last weekend. They are doing really good this year...so what happened to all those years I was attending there?? I was there for 7 freakin' years and nothing. Oh well. I went to the game, paid my young alumni price, and got stuck in the sea of people. I found out that we're still a wet campus. I'd figure that they would stop selling beer there once we entered a new conference - nope! They still get drunk there. I do like one thing they did about the stadium...the standing room only section in the endzone that used to be open. I'm a perv...I admit but I never found this out until AFTER I stood up there. What do you expect from me when you go wearing something low cut and decently endowed?? I'd be stupid not to catch a glance whenever opportunity presented themselves. One thing that they should have fixed when they were doing rennovations on the stadium....concessions. The stands are in the walk way so you can't go anywhere when it's sold out. You have lines that block the flow of traffic and just a plain mess. Another thing...how the hell can you run out of food BEFORE halftime?? There is not excuse to not have any food right before halftime begins. That's something I need to email them about. I waited in line for a good 20-25 mins to have them run out of pizza twice!! Damn...forgot to get gas today b/c you know that they will increase for the weekend. Any ways...do to my fun last night..I need to get to bed like 24mins ago.
