So, as those of you who know me understand... I have been a Clash fan all of my life. my aunt and uncle played London Calling for me repeatedly as a kid, and they were the band that made much of my teenage years tolerable. Those who know also know that I obsessively collect Clash records and memorabilia.
Some of you might also know that Paul Simonon, the bassist for the Clash, now plays in a group called The Good, The Bad, and the Queen with Damon Albarn from Blur and some other top musicians.
So tonight I finally got to see Paul play. It was nothing short of amazing. I don't usually get all wiped out emotionally at shows, but I have to admit, I was fuckin' tearing up like a little kid with a skint knee all night. He still had all the Simmo moves, and you can't mistake his bass sound.
Anyway. Enough of my blubbering. Here's some pics.

Oh yeah.. I also started my first day at work screenprinting today. An hour into it, I bent down to pick up a t-shirt and got cracked in the skull by the metal shirt pallette on the press. Got a sweet cut on my forehead. And YES, my hair is black again..
