What to do with collection ... ?
Hello! I'm a lurker/occasional poster and have been for years and I need help.
I have amassed a large collection of Jasmine items that really started about 2006. Mostly, I collect dolls and figurines. In truth, I have spent a fair sum of money on it, gathering up some very nice (and rare) items. Being that I went overseas a lot, I also have several foreign dolls and collectables.
I noticed a few years ago that my interest in collecting was fading and now I have no desire to add to the collection (except maybe for the occasional item .....). I'm 26 years old, newly married and newly moved into our first house. I have nowhere to display the stuff and - except for a few select items - no desire to display it either.
My question really is what to do with it. I hate the idea of selling it to be honest - I don't want someone to de-box/break/ruin/discard/etc. these items that I still cherish. But do I keep the collection forever in storage boxes until I die? I think in that regard I prefer the items to be out.....
