I just looked at the Lollapalooza website, and there are even more bands there that I want to see than I thought. The Frames, The Shins, Of Montreal... in addition to all the others, of course. Hooooly crap I want to go. Have you guys made hotel arrangements yet?

As far as I know, there won't be "hotel arrangements" exactly - it's either going to be the Altima Inn (Alex's car) or a campground, maybe? Apparently Chicago hotels are pretty expensive. We might be able to figure something out, though.

If you don't feel like sleeping in a car or on the ground, hostels are the way to go. Google them for the Chicago area, theres 3 that seem decent.
And where the hell is Borders? Barnes & Noble for life.

The Borders I'm working at is in the Palm Beach Mall.

I actually like Borders more than Barnes and Noble, especially as a place to work. It's more laid-back. Also the music section is much better.

That hostel idea is a good one, I'm going to check it out.

I haven't been to the Palm Beach mall in a million years, so maybe thats why I don't understand the awesomeness of Borders...

Come check it out sometime, and I'll see if I can swing you some of my free coffee or tea.

I don't drink coffee or tea, but I suppose its the thought that counts...

Neither do I. I was hoping I'd be able to give mine away to someone who was actually interested.

Maybe Kristen B... she's a coffee fiend.
How do you get way out to the mall, by the way?

Parental transportation. It's an imperfect system, but it looks like I won't be able to get a car this summer, so it's what I've got.
