Just got back from UCF Honors Orientation.
I'm going to enjoy myself immensely in college. I know it.
Fall 2005 Schedule:
MONDAY
12:30 - 1:20 PM Honors College Algebra
4:30 - 6:20 PM Honors Symposium
TUESDAY
1:30 - 2:45 PM Honors Fundamentals of Communication (Speech)
3:00 - 5:50 PM Cinema Survey
WEDNESDAY
12:30 - 1:20 PM Honors College Algebra
6:00 - 8:50 PM US History
THURSDAY
1:30 - 2:45 PM Honors Fundamentals of Communication (Speech)
FRIDAY
12:30 - 1:20 PM Honors College Algebra
I think the scheduling actually worked out pretty well for me. I know a lot of people got screwed out of things they wanted/needed to take, though.
I might not get my Pegasus scholarship. I didn't realize there was a confirmation form to return, and I just got an e-mail saying they're all out of scholarship funds and that mine will be canceled. I'm supposed to submit the confirmation with a letter of appeal and they'll review it if they can give out any more money. I really hope they can. It's not absolutely necessary (I think I can pretty much pay for college without it) but it would defintely help out.
EDIT: apparently the Astronomy professor is terrible. The worst people have ever had at UCF. I'm trying to switch into something else. I need suggestions for good gen ed classes.
EDIT 2: no more Astronomy. Either Ethics or US History (probably US History although the Ethics class does seem interesting).
Also forgot to mention that I met two quite cool girls named Kayla and Jessica. One of them is my good friend now and the other I may never see again.
EDIT 3: I'm probably going to switch my major to Psychology.
