Studying actually works! D:
this semester's exam session was probably the most blatant evidence of the title statement
I just got a couple more of my grades back:
Biochem: Had a D- going into the exam, studied my ass off for a whole week, ended up with a C+ (yeah!)
Stats: had an A+ going into the exam (yay bonus marks), didn't study for any appreciable amount of time, bombed the exam and ended up with a B-
the funny part is that if I just maintained both my grades, then my average would have been the same (ie an A+ and a D- affect my average as would a C+ and a B-)
I'm waiting on one more grade, and unless I got an A+ (which I didn't) then I'm not making Dean's List this yeah (sorry renard, I failed you! D: ). Meh, I should be able to bring it up next year, as I will be taking fewer bull-ass courses next year. (And not like Dean's List really matters in the first place)
So yeah, I must head off (my cousin's getting married today!!) but I'll be making a more substantial entry this evening.
