I just wonder what OneX is up to...
Hey everybody,
Just wanted to make a little post saying that I'm still around. I feel like I've fallen out of communication with a lot of people lately, and it's due to a variety of reasons... School is legitimately demanding right now, but my borderline comical procrastination and time-management are to blame as well. I quit facebook what... almost two months ago? and I think it really helped with focusing on my schoolwork, but it did come at a cost of a level of disconnection from my friends. I do plan to get it back in after another month or so. After school's done, I need to just give myself a little of time for some "digital detox", so when I come back to facebook I won't be checking it chronically like I used to.
School's kinda sorta wrapping up. I have two papers and two presentations this week (including my final presentation of my senior research project at the biology undergraduate symposium), and then two written exams the following week. I also have a job interview at the Royal Botanical Gardens this Wednesday, for a position in their herbarium. I really really REALLY want this job, as it's basically what I want to do for my career, and would be great experience for my grad school application (also, I get to stay in Hamilton, and $13 an hour is more than I've ever made =D). Either way, I'll be living in Hamilton with my sister for at least a couple extra months because we're both doing summer courses.
But yeah, once I'm done this semester, you can expect to see me online more often on MSN/AIM/facebook/whatever, and I'll be able to actually make plans and do stuff. It'll be awesome :P
