Dammit!
Everyday I want to post on my LJ, but I end up getting distracted or being too busy or something, so I'll harp some shit down now really fast.
September has always been the lax month of the semester. Not this time. It's been not two weeks and I'm already up to my esophagus in assignments. The camping trips for biodiversity, while fun, are very life-consuming. I might skip the one that's next weekend... partly so I can catch up on my work, but also partly because Evol Intent is playing in town that weekend =D. The camping trip was cool. For the research portion, we counted trees, dug for worms, caught some fish and tested some water. For the recreational portion, we got drunk and played charades and Cranium. Usually I hate charades, but we were making up nonsensical clues such as "Harry Potter Bowling" and "Garbage Man Terminator". I think everyone's favourite was when I had to act out Gimli XD
This weekend they're doing a beginner's parkour thingie on campus, and I'm really excited to check that out. Also this weekend, a couple of Renard's friends are visiting from Buffalo. I think it's gonna be one of those ZOMG DRUNK FURRIES weekends.
Ren and I spent $150 at the grocery store today. This food better last us a while. We bought the hilarious econo-size margarine, containing 3.17 kg of hydrogenated goodness (The tub is so big that it has a handle XD)
I don't know if I'll be posting as often throughout the semester, but then again, there's REALLY no way of telling how my habits will pan out this semester. As of late, I've also been neglecting my personal journal (sorry loves, you aren't the only ones <3). I think it's because I just get distracted by the intarnets, and spend the whole evening milling around in the tubes instead of doing something a little more productive. This is a habit I'll definitely have to improve upon, for I'm definitely entering my toughest semester yet.
I should cut it off before this becomes a ridiculous ramble. Thanks as always for reading. Even if I'm not posting often, please know that I'm still reading everyone else's submissions
