Life Update
There's a few things I wanted to talk about, but I'm in a flurry of packing and need to sleep soon, so it'll be quick.
I'm going away for two weeks. Field Biology is upon me. I'll be spending two glorious weeks identifying plants and insects. I think I'll have internet while I'm there, but probably not too much time for lolling around on the web. I've been crastinating like a pro. Remember when I said I have to do a seminar on insect vision? Well... it's due a week from Monday and I haven't started it yet. Well, I've done some reading and kinda know what it's about, but I need to actually make the presentation.
I saw Kathy Griffin Live in Toronto last night, and it was a fucking riot. It was pretty much two hours of celebrity gossip, which I usually hate, but I can't deny that it was hilarious.
After all that effort to get accepted into the Peer Mentoring program, it turns out I CAN'T take the course because it conflicts with one of my compulsories. It's quite a bummer, but the prof said that she will reserve a spot for me next year, so my time will come. After dealing with all the bullshit of school scheduling, I only have about half the courses I was originally planning on taking. It's not quite as bad as it sounds; things might end up being more interesting, but the whole ordeal just gets more exhausting each year.
I'm tired and gotta go. I'm sure I'll be thinkin' of you while I'm out there catchin' beetles ;)
