my friends get to be influencers

Thanks to everyone who participated, recommended, referred, and otherwise contributed to my PC Gamer focus group. It was a raging success. The guys were awesome and absolutely perfect examples of my target audience. I have been and will continue to gleefully wield the results from that evening in the face of every doubting Thomas at work who attempts to thwart me and my aims...bwahahahaha! If all goes well, those very helpful guys may have some impact on nearly half a million people's AV decision in the coming year. *fingers crossed that it sells that well*

Now to recruit my next set of influencers! MOMS and DADS UNITE!

I've been asked to create a web portal for parents. I'm given the fun job of coming up with what kinds of information, content, activities, etc should we put on this theoretical portal to make it interesting and compelling enough for parents to visit it on a regular basis.

Here's your chance to get in on the ground floor to influence what my company hopes will be a hugely popular web property. We are not limited to security as a topic. I'm looking for anything appealing to my parental audience.

My specific target audience is Moms with kids between the ages of 8 and 18...but Dads get to participate too. And what the hell, I'll include all parents...you just have to extrapolate "what if your kid was in the target demographic and spent time online" when considering your input?

Join me in a discussion group and if you can in some follow-up gatherings. Beyond my eternal gratitude for your insight and brilliant ideas, I'll ferret out some extra rewards from my corporate overlords to share with the group.

So, WHO'S IN??
