ill never forget these years
alrite well its been a while since i have updated... 2 weeks almost exactly. a lot has happened and as a result im gonna have 2 posts. Yesterday morning my grandma died. she had had a stroke saturday and was in the hospital. over the past year and a half or so she has been really sick. she was having strokes and trouble breathing but was holding on. we had to move her to 2 different retirment homes after moving her out of her house after she had a stroke. this is my first family death so its hard. since she was so sick its been a little easier knowing her time was coming soon. she was probably one of my closest relatives. we spent every thanksgiving and christmas with her and my aunt. i think the holidays will be hard when they come around. its just hard thinknig ill never see her opening her presents again or eating turkey at thanksgiving. i guess its part of life. you are born, you live, you die. it happens to the best of us. im jsut glad i got the chance to spend the 17 years ive been here knowing her and having a relationship with her.
