Rustic Entertainment

Dad and I left for LA at 4am on March 15th. We arrived around 10:20am. I slept for pretty much the entire flight, which was nice, and I was ready to go when we got here. We got a BRAND NEW Subaru Impreza sedan, 2011 style. It literally only had 4 miles on the odometer. Those miles were probably testing miles after it was assembled. Anyaway, it smelled like burning plastic and rubber it was so new, and the entire thing was heating up for the first time. We drove over to Rugged Entertainment, where Jay interns and Dad dropped me off and took off for business meetings.
Jay and I got to go to downtown LA and get some footage from Flex, and we hung out with Flex and Soulja Boy's bodyguard in their hotel downtown while he uploaded some footage to a portable hard drive for Jay to give to Peter, Jay's boss at his internship. It was crazy and this Flex guy has some really cool insight into the media market. Then we got some In & Out burger, and that was DELICIOUS. I was so hungry, and it was just perfect. I saw a Suzuki Swift in the parking lot there AKA, a Geo Metro. I've seen like 4 Metros today alone, and probabky 8 BMW e30 3-series models.
I love the car culture here in LA. The dry warmth makes a good preservation environment for cars in general, and there are just that many older cars still on the road here because there is no salt and snow and wetness to erode them away and wear them out sooner like in New England. There are also WAY more exotic cars around here. I will undoubtedly post more on this later.
We came back to Rose's place for the night, and played some serious Halo: Reach online. I definitely got 22 kills one round and got like 5 double kills or something ridiculous. It was fun, I haven't had much time to play any video games at all in recent times at school, being busy with all my work and what not. It's also really nice just to sit out on Rose's front porch and chill. It's a little cool, but not too cold, and not muggy at all. Perfect nighttime porch chilling weather in my opinion. Perhaps Jay and I will smoke cigars out there tomorrow. LA ain't so bad.
